Christmas was a success. Both of my daughters love the quilts I made them. Life is good. I feel fortunate to live in Ohio and not the eastern portion of the US as they are getting pounded with snow! Hopefully God will keep them safe.
Stumbled upon a nice blog today. "Attic24" http://attic24.typepad.com/weblog/
is a crochet blog from a mother in England that LOVES color. Her site is interesting and she even writes the patterns up for you. Of course she accepts donations for her patterns and tutorials.....I wonder how a US resident could donate to a UK resident? I will have to work on that one.
My youngest daughter bought me a very nice organizer for my quilting, scrap booking, card making, etc etc hobbies from JoAnns. Very Very nice...reminds me of a tool chest but in green and purple. Thank you to Katie.
Well enjoy the final count down of 2010 and I will write later......Be safe~!~!

Welcome to my blog.......
Welcome to my blog.......
Why did I decide to create a blog? Why not? I have learned so much about quilting, quilters, crafts, arts etc from other people's blogs, I decided to participate in the exchange of life events. What am I working on? I just finished a class at Calico Cupboard in Pataskala, Ohio called Grand Central Station. I will post after Christmas if you understand what I mean...... I have met so many nice people through Calico Cupboard quilt shop. Looking forward to 2011 Paducah, Ky and taking many more classes at Calico in the new year.
I am jealous of my friend Jan...she just bought a brand new Janome....complete with bells and whistles. That means she has an automatic thread cutter and lots of accessories :)
Well this is my blog....feel free to share your projects, your favorite quilt shop and why and how many new friends you have met because you are a quilter. Bye for now.....be safe
Beth
